How to play against aggressive players

How to play against aggressive players is the concept that can be construed in different ways. The main goal of playing against an aggressive player is to trap them and get their whole stack in a pot. If you can do that and you have the best hand then you have played the hand correct. When you are sitting with an aggressive player who is opening a ton of pots you can sit back and wait for hands. You don’t want to call off hands like KJ or QJ before the flop because even if you hit you will have no security in the hand and feel uncomfortable. What you want to do is wait for bigger hands like AK before the flop and just call. Hopefully, you can make top pair on the flop and let them build the pot for you. If you are letting your opponent build the pot for you, and you are ahead in the hand, you are playing it right, and should have no insecurity about your play. When you let your opponent build the pot for you they feel as if they are at the advantage and that you may be on a draw, but, in reality you have the best hand.

How to build up a big pot against an aggressive player is by trapping them. If you can do this effectively than you can win a lot of money in one particular session. Most aggressive players have no off switch and will just keep going at pots without hands. They will not stop until they have no money left in front of them or until they have every chip at the table. You cannot try to play with these players because they will put immense amounts of pressure throughout, and will not stop until you take a big pot from them. As soon as you have taken a big pot from them they will be stuck now and playing even wilder than before. If you get hands against aggressive players there isn’t a better feeling in poker. You can far exceed your expectations for a session when you pick off aggressive players. Sitting with aggressive players who you know are maniacs at the table is something that a lot of players shy away from. You do not want to be shy. If you feel confident in your play and reads then sit with them and take their money. If you run decent you can make more than you would sitting against a regular group of players. These players don’t slow down much in their play and even when stuck will still go after pots with the second best cards. You can easily play back at aggressive players and get them to fold. Most players will play back by just making calls with made hands. If you lead out against aggressive players they will make calls or raises on the flop or turn. If you have the made hand you can get them to throw their stack right at you. All that you have to do is wait to collect it from the pot.
